The first bell rings at 8:20 a.m. and children and parents may go to the classrooms at that time. The second bell rings at 8:35 a.m. and children should be in their classrooms ready for the day.
Before the first bell, children and parents are welcome to play and gather around the school or wait in the front stairwell or by the back doors, although there is no adult supervision until 8:20 a.m.
Children arriving at school after the second bell must report to the office for a late pass before going to their classrooms.
If you know that your child will be late to school, please call the “safety call-back line” (617) 559-6499 by 8:30 a.m. and leave a message that your child will be late. (see Absences for more information)
