How will my child’s kindergarten teacher be chosen?

Parents give information about their child at the registration in March. That information along with any information that the preschool sends us helps us determine placement. Kindergarten parents usually know their child’s A/B placement for the next year by the beginning of June. Usually the kindergarten teachers hold a “meet the teacher” on the playground in June after school. This gives the children an opportunity to meet other kids, and take a tour of the class.
