Kids have great attitudes about learning and it is so refreshing to see their perseverance and resilience when they are challenged. Another great aspect of teaching is that no class or student is the same. each class and individual student is unique in their own way. I love getting to know so many different individuals.

Favorite thing about teaching/working with kids: It’s exciting to work with young English language learners (ELLs) to enable them to become immersed — linguistically, academically, and socially — in their new school culture. Knowing and assisting the parents of ELLs is an extra enriching dimension to my teaching role.
