The conversation will be led by our Principal Ms. Farag and a team of teachers who’ve participated in district training and are helping to lead this important work at our school.

Gift Wrapping at Newtonville Books This Weekend
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Newtonville Books in Newton Center is graciously giving the Williams PTO a chance to raise money by gift wrapping for tips. This weekend, Friday-Sunday, we’ll be at the bookstore spreading holiday cheer and raising $$$ for our school. CAN YOU HELP?? The more volunteers we get, the more money we can raise! We are scheduling 2-hour shifts, but you are welcome to take as many shifts as you’d like. Please sign up HERE….there are tons of empty spots… help us fill them up!

PTO & Be Ahead of the Game Sports Clinics
Session 2 Now Open for Registration

 

Come play sports inside when the weather gets cold outside. Run by Be Ahead of the Game, these evening clinics in the Williams Gym are designed to be skill-building with loads of FUN! Session 2 starts the week of January 29. Sign up now as they will fill up fast!

The Annual Campaign

Thank you to the 51 Williams families who donated so far, allowing us to reach almost 70% of our campaign goal! We are still hoping to reach 100% participation from families, so please help us achieve our goal by donating to the Annual Campaign today! The PTO provides our school with enrichment programs for our kids, classroom learning tools, and community programs. You can learn more about the Campaign and other impressive programs the PTO funds in the ANNUAL CAMPAIGN LETTER. Last Thursday at Bertucci’s
Thank you to the MANY families that helped us take over Bertucci’s on last Thursday’s Early Release! Some chose to dine in (look at this fantastic group!!), some ordered take away, and all raised $$$ for our school!

Holiday Gift Drive Success!

Once again the Williams School succeeded in taking care of others through our annual collaboration with The Village Bank and the City of Newton! Thank you to all the families that donated a huge pile of new toys and games and made many of our community kids happier just in time for the holidays.

The Art Room at Williams is a place of creativity and fun. Ms. McGill is working hard to keep it that way for all students. All items on the list are needed all year round to keep the Art Room functional and support our kids’ creativity!

A Message From Our Librarian

Looking for a nice way to support the Williams Library? Check out the WISH LIST at Bound To Stay Bound bookstore. You can donate a specific book or make a general donation and I will select titles from the wish list to fulfill the amount. This program will run through the end of December but will be available again at the beginning of 2018.
