Zoe Land, Sam Linder, Max Teszler - tied 1st place winners in the 4th grade Spelling Bee at the Newton Cultural Center on March 8th.
Congratulations to all the accomplished spellers that participated in Newton’s Annual Spelling Bees at the Newton Cultural Center on March 1, 3, 8 and 10! They were very exciting evenings, especially because many of the categories on all four evenings ended in ties! The Spelling Bees were sponsored by the Newton Civic Pride Committee and the Mayor’s Office for Cultural Affairs, in cooperation with Mt. Ida College.
