Performances

All My Sons, by Arthur Miller, presented by Theatre Ink and student directed by Jen Diamond and Jordan Ashcher. All My Sons tells the story of the Kellers, a family torn apart by war. Joe, the father, ran a factory during the war which manufactured faulty airplane parts; he was cleared of guilt, but his partner was jailed for the crime. The specter of Joe’s past and the fact that the family’s oldest son was reported missing in combat prove a potent mix. A mother in denial and a disillusioned son add to the action, and as the tension rises, these threads form a complex weave of electrifying intensity. As the tranquility of the Kellers’ life disintegrates, All My Sons questions traditional notions of responsibility and obligation and powerfully examines the morality of post-war America. February 4th, 5th and 6th at 7:30pm, . Little Theatre at NNHS, 360 Lowell Avenue, Newtonville. Tickets $7 at www.theatreink.net or 617-559-6406.
