Salute the Summer Solstice with Folktales and Music at the Arnold Arboretum June 19th and 20th:
Tree lore and solstice legends will be performed in the arboretum landscape by storyteller Diane
Edgecomb and Celtic harpist Margot Chamberlain. Tales from around the world are spun, making the
human connection with trees and the meanings of trees through the ages. A moveable feast of stories
and music along the arboretum’s tree-lined paths, culminating in the telling of a haunting Czech legend,
the Wild Woman of the Birch Grove, amid the birches of Bussey Hill at sunset. Registration $20.

Turtle Lane Announces a One-Night-Only Murder Mystery Theater Fundraiser: This special first-ever
murder mystery theatre fundraiser is to be staged Friday June 26th at 8pm. Fun and entertainment are
guaranteed as the audience plays detective, interacting with the cast and picking up clues, trying to figure
out “whodunit”. Tickets are $25 and include passed hors d’oeuvres. Full cash bar as well. All proceeds go
